Friends! I have fantastic news to share with you! I took the Series 65 exam yesterday and passed!! That means I’m one step closer to becoming a Registered Investment Adviser :) The next step is to prepare and file all sorts of compliance paperwork with the state.

So how did I celebrate? I took a picture of my pink shoes and then enjoyed a grande half-caff peppermint mocha with skim milk from Starbucks. Nothing too crazy since Monica is getting over a cold and John isn’t feeling the best either. So we’ll have to save a better celebration until later. If we were going somewhere fancy to celebrate, I’d love to wear one of those lovely dresses with some gorgeous accessories from Rent the Runway. Of course I can also save one of these options for New Year’s Eve!

If you shop with Rent the Runway today (12/21), choose a rental start date between 12/26 – 12/31, and use code HAPPY2015, you can save 20% on your order of $50 or more! If you’re new to RTR and don’t see this post until Monday (or later), you can still get $25 off your first order of $75+ using code 25OFFNEW. And don’t fret about ordering the wrong size either. With Rent the Runway you can even select an additional backup size to be shipped at no extra cost. And as a mom, let’s not forget one of my other favorite benefits of RTR, not having to worry about spilling and dry cleaning!

Hope you’re having a fantastic weekend!
